The coconut is cleaned out, polished, colored with the application of gold leafing and then lacquered by experts craftsmen.

HOW THEY ARE MADE
Our talented artisans cut young coconuts in half, hollow them out and cut away the fibers on the outside. Once the fibers are removed, the bowls are buffed by hand to achieve a natural shine. Pieces of brightly colored foil are hand-placed on the interior of the bowl before a shiny lacquer is applied.
